Some of the stuff in these photos is so old it belongs in a museum, or maybe a mausoleum, but instead it was dug up and shared online for everyone to appreciate.

It's a little weird to consider that the origins of the word 'nostalgia' refer to a longing for home, because in our case none of these photos really depict that. But if you get inspired to pick up an old video game or movie, that's all that matters.

It's also safe to say that if you recognize most of the items in these pictures, you probably had a pretty good childhood. Maybe it wasn't perfect, but at least you got to play Resident Evil.

And if you never got to play Resident Evil then you should probably stop whatever you're doing now and go play. Seriously, it's a good game.
